All About Dat

In October 2013, our two friends, The ScrapFest! chicks, were moving on and were leaving a scrapbooking crop need void on the Northshore of New Orleans. For over 10 years, twice a year, there was a scrapbooking event here.

Two friends, Christine Marchese and Beth Rolinski, knew instantly and were in complete agreement, that the crop must go on in Mandeville, Covington or Madisonville, LA! Well, at least a new one. And so the Scrap Dat crop was conceived.

In May 2014, our first crop, Scrap Dat, was held in Mandeville, LA at the Castine Center. It was a great success. We determined there that we must have another crop in the fall. And so history was made.

We are so excited to keep the scrapping tradition here in our area. Many ladies told us they were happy that we are keeping it alive here as well.

We know dat we’re gonna pass a good time!
